Objective of Job
Brief Task Description
* Engage, support and even champion the FCA global commodity strategy preparation as required, follow up the group purchasing strategy for the regional sourcing.
* Manage supplier relationship within region based on commodity strategy and quality first philosophy, drive supplier to improve overall performance.
* Realize new P.O and cost avoidance target by identifying the right supplier base and programs, taking consideration into the commodity strategy.
* Achieve the annual direct material saving target, with the support from other functional team members by different approaches.
* Pre-RFQs and sourcing recommendations preparation and present at global tables for local programs.
* China/India new program sourcing supporting including negotiation externally and coordination internally, to ensure sourcing at the best cost scenario.
* Support the new program development in region meeting the main milestone-VP/PS/SOP…
* Work/coordinate with cross-functional
teams-JV Plant, PE/PD, PU, Global team.
* Engage and support the global one voice meeting by collecting the information from different stakeholders and lead and coordinate the regional meeting in advance for the alignment and afterwards for the follow up
* If required, Engage and support the regional competition for the global vehicles for certain components to achieve the cost saving opportunities.

Qualifications
Education Bachelor degree. Skills & Experience
* 5+ years purchasing working experience in Automotive industry.
* Self-motivated and good team player, global mindset, directed with flexibility regarding work hours and travel.
* Due to the requirement of the position, able to attend the night call for the global discussion, 2-3 times per week.
* Knowing/experience in product technology is preferred.
* Skillful at oral and written English language;
* Fluent at office tools like Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
