Job description
? Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier for fabrics
? Evaluate and manage factories for continuous improvement and business development
? Follow up fabric order process from confirmation to shipment
? Be proactive in anticipating issues and providing problem solving skills wherever necessary
? Support the department’s fabric development process
? Work closely and effectively with supporting colleagues (Fabric-QC, Logistics)
? Sourcing for and find new or alternativ fabric suppliers / qualities
? Observe the market to get information about market development, fibre / fabric price development
Requirement
? Bachelor Degree Graduate
? At least 3 years of merchandising experience in fabric business
? Knowledge about fabric construction and fibres
? Good communication of both spoken and written English
? Experience in price negotiations and order allocation
? Detail oriented mindset to ensure timely production and delivery schedules are met
? Must be self motivated, self organised, responsible, hardworking and independent
? Ability to work under pressure
? Willing to travel inside China
