Requirements:
Critical Competency:
1. Excellent knowledge of quality management (methods/tools).
2. Good experience and knowledge in purchasing affairs.
3. Excellent negotiation skills.
4. Good experience in leading cross-functional/ cross-cultural teams.
5. Strong commitment to business targets.
6. Capable to manage complex projects.
7. Strategic thinking and structured approach of tasks.
8. Understand easily complex technical and business matters.
9. Fluent English in speaking and writing.
10. Good communication skills on an international basis.
11. Strong leadership skills.
12. Inter-cultural experience/ skills.
13. Highest business ethics and conduct.
Required Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar.
2. 5+ years experience in a similar position at MNC from automotive industries.
3. Hand on experience and knowledge in supplier management and/or quality management.
4. Sound experience and knowledge in TS16949 requirements and supplier audits.
5. Familiar with manufacturing processes and technologies.
6. Familiar with standard tools like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power-Point and SAP.
responsibility:
1. Supervise and drive the observation and analysis of the supplier market.
2. Supervise and drive the set-up of purchasing (commodity) strategies.
3. Supervise and drive the fulfillment of the regional quality commodity strategy and control over the costs in his/her commodities by SD Team.
4. Supervise and drive the documentation and follow-up of the necessary activities to fulfill the strategy by appropriate means according to the actual set of tools by Supplier Development Team ; e.g. "action plans".
5. Supervise and drive the supplier complaint management according to the defined escalation levels, including leading task force and executing trouble shooting in case of supplier delivery and quality problems.
6. Supervise and drive the release process of new suppliers through potential analysis.
7. Supervise and drive the execution of supplier zero defects purchasing project management.
8. Take part and drive the supplier nomination (sourcing decision).
9. Visit relevant fairs, (international) conferences and congresses.
10. Prepare and participate on customer audits for purchasing department.
Handle other organizational tasks,such as organization development,process optimization, purchasing functions support, and etc.
