MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Lead launch teams and assist management in ensuring adherence to NPIS and APQP guidelines. Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related specifications. Facilitate feasibility analysis, develop program timing, and complete associated documents including action registers, milestones, etc.

·Ensure PPAP and SOP (Start of Production) dates are met, milestones are green, and production quality and efficiency meet stated levels. Maintain associated launch databases.

·As required, attend meetings with customers, present data, and obtain information from customers to ensure a successful launch. Review requirements with GSCM and vendors as appropriate.

·Provide technical support relating to launch activities and assigned projects.

·Participate in TVM activities from brainstorming through the implementation & monitoring phase.

·Follow all company policies and procedures such as the quality management system, BOS, Lean, TVM, and Environmental Health and Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:·Associates Degree (preferred engineering discipline) and five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment or combination of the education and experience.

·Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products. Special emphasis on Microsoft Project and Excel.

·Working knowledge and application of Tenneco tools (BOS, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma, EVA, TVM).

·Ability to write concise reports and present information to management and customer groups.
