Job Purpose/Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the open source application framework– Legato which runs on top of Linux.
Key Accountabilities
Legato peripheral drivers and services support including but not limited to Audio/GPIO/UART/I2C/WIFI/Bluetooth and etc.
Support customers to integrate with Legato application framework.
New feature development based on the customer’s requirements.
Contribution to the Legato application framework.
Required Education, Experience and Competencies
1. BSEE/CS is mandatory
2. 5+ year’ work experiences in Linux embedded system
3. Good skills in embedded C programming
4. Familiar with Linux IPC and multi-task programming.
5. Hands on experience in Linux and its application debugging.
6. Familiar with Linux peripheral drives and audio.
7. Familiar with the SCM tools. E.g. Git/Gerrit
8. Good communication skills. Fluent verbal and written English is an essential.
9. Proactive working attitude
Desired Education, Experience and Competencies
1. Experiences with Qualcomm platforms.
2. Good knowledge about some application framework. E.g. android.
3. Quick learner for the new features in Linux
