Role Summary/Purpose
Essential Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the lab operational management. Allocate resources to deliver test results on time. Manage assets to optimize lab’s operating efficiency in a cost effective way. Monitor production efficiency and deploy corrective and improvement plans to meet project needs. Benchmark performances with internal/external labs. • Be responsible for lab startup including equipment purchase, installation and maintenance, technician hiring and training. • Be responsible for the lab’s EHS management. Implement all necessary measures aiming at improving lab staff safety. Organize internal safety audits. • Be responsible for the lab quality system management. Define the quality management system of laboratories to comply with ISO17025 standards. Define accreditation policy and scopes according to business needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor or above degree in the background of Electronics, Mechanics, Physics or optics. • 2+ year’s lab management experiences. Be familiar with ISO/IEC17025. • Good communication skill, strong leadership and capability to motivate and energize people as a team. • Capability to translate complex, multi-dimensional challenges into simple directives, easy to conduct at lab operational level. • Fluent English in both oral and written.
