Responsibilities:
1. Create purchase orders as reqs needed, and make sure all data is accurate to be entered on the POs based on standard lead times and outputting POs to vendors.
2. Managing vendor PO confirmations and make sure vendors are confirming ship schedule based on standard lead time.
3. Weekly review all kinds of different reports to make sure vendors’ on-time delivery.
4. Communicate directly with the suppliers to expedite orders as needed to satisfy our customers.
5. Participate in regular meetings with suppliers and sourcing team to define raising issues and find solution.
6. Act as a liaison between vendors and 3rd party logistics providers for the whole exported logistics process.
7. Monthly analysis vendors’ performance and take actions accordingly.
8. Other tasks or projects as assigned by Shanghai supply chain manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree, knowledge of logistics and Quality system is preferred.
2. At least 1-2 years supply chain experiences in Production / Supply Chain or equivalent in Multi-national Company environment and preferably in supervising/measuring performance of outsource vendors in the region.
3. Computer Skills: Proficient at Office software like Excel, PPT.
4. Strong sense of urgency, results orientated; excellent time management and organizational skills as well as communication skills.
5. SAP/APO is highly preferred.
