Position Overview:
The procedure management engineer support with the objective about driving engineering procedure framework and content continuous improvement in Automotive China Engineering.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Major Tasks
？ Cooperate with local engineering teams to initiate new procedures with professional knowledges;
？ Support/ guide local engineering procedure and SWI owners to revise the documents;
？ Be owner of local general engineering procedures and SWIs, e.g. data classification, engineering change procedure, etc.;
？ Lead engineering teams for cross function owned procedure review communication;
？ Manage engineering procedure framework and maintain the engineering procedure and SWI pool;
？ Explore procedure weakness and/or optimization opportunity for engineering risk management and efficiency enhancement;
？ Cooperate with HR to organize the engineering related procedure or SWI training while new document is published or document is revised;
？ Support QMS manager for engineering section of 3rd party IATF 16949 audit.
Technical Requirements
？ Good knowledge to IATF16949 requirements and VDA6.3 process audit requirement;
？ Good knowledge to APQP and PPAP;
？ Be familiar to new product development process, e.g. VOC, QFD, FMEA, Design review;
？ Be familiar to FMEA, MSA, SPC;
？ Be familiar to root cause analysis tools, e.g. 5 Why, 5M1E, etc;
？ Six sigma – green belt is necessary;
？ Have knowledge about project management, PMP certificate is preferred.
General Requirements
？ At least 3 years working experience, and with 4 years’ quality management background in Automotive industry;
？ Engineering bachelor degree or above;
？ Be patient and willing to work multiple tasks under pressure with Self-motivation;
？ Good sense of team work and extraordinary customer experience;
？ Be good at communication and action follow-up;
？ Be good at written English and oral English with CET-4 or above;
？ Be good at Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point;
？ Be willing to have some day-return travels to Automotive China Suzhou plants if necessary.
