Job Responsibilities:
A successful Program Manager will be a problem solver and communicator.
-Responsible for providing program leadership in working with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to ensure key program deliverables are completed.
- Drive informed decision-making process within the framework of the customer.
- Building and maintaining multiple master program schedules, tracking resource needs, mitigating risks, and reporting project financials.
- Ensure project momentum continually moves forward at an optimal pace and coach cross-functional teams to follow informed project decision making processes that result in effective risk mitigation and impactful scope change assessments.
- Utilize oral and written communication tools to provide cross-functional program team collaboration and ensure program delivery is consistently aligned with the expectations of the customer and other key project stakeholders.
- Proactively identify resource gaps or risks, manage highly matrix internal resources with competing priorities, and drive critical delivery from outsourced project team partners, both local and international.
- Complete any additional assignments and assume any additional responsibilities as directed by supervisor or company management.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, company procedures, rules, policies, and the company handbook at all times. Perform all tasks and conduct all business honestly and ethically. Report any violations immediately to Riverwood management.
- Take prompt action to prevent, mitigate, or remedy any legal, ethical, policy, or code of conduct violation or potential violation and provide a detailed and objective report on any issues to supervisor immediately.
Skills/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess deep experience in program management leadership within a consumer electronics development culture.
- Must have prior experience managing projects and general systems knowledge of embedded software, electronic hardware, wireless communications, and device to web integration.
- Experience in managing user experience driven product development and processes is highly desired.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Excellent team communication and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to ensure project-team cohesion, effective collaboration, and strong motivation across internal team and outsourced partners.
- Frequent late-afternoon / early evening and occasional early morning conference calls.
- High Proficiency verbal and written English. Can use excel for data analysis
- Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese.
- Mechanical engineer experience is a plus.
