KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Ensure system software (BIOS, Driver & Firmware, etc.) to be tested properly and delivered to customer and internal engineering teams on time.
? Develop manual and automated test suites to ensure compliance to product specification and adequate test coverage.
? Execute test plans, analyze test results and drive issues to closure.
? Work closely with product development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on the architecture and designs.
? Identify and Investigate defects, provide diagnostic support to customers and internal engineering teams.
REQUIREMENTS
? B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
? Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
? A minimum of 3 years’ experience on software QA or Validation.
? Solid understanding of software quality assurance and testing methodologies and be able to think independently and solve complex problems.
? Excellent debugging, problem solving, pattern recognition mentality and analytical skills.
? Knowledge of PC products (CPU/GPU/APU, motherboard…) and peripherals (DIMM, Hard Disk, Monitor, SD, SATA, USB….).
? Hands-on experience with x86 silicon, platform or software validation is preferred.
? Experience in Linux and Windows environment.
? Decode & encode knowledge is a big plus.
? Proficient in scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.) for test automation development is a plus.
? Quick learning and self-motivated.
? Good team player and willing to work overtime and under pressure.
