Job Description
Function: Boxon China
Position: Logistics Assistant
Closest manager: Supply Chain Manager
Main objective of the position
1. Be in charge of handling procedures related to Import and Export, focus on preparing inbound and outbound documents
2. To plan /organize /monitor local and international transportation activities, and assist manager on cost saving project
Tasks
1. Tracking and control export/import procedure to ensure smooth logistic operation in timely receipt and release of shipment
2. Export /Import documents preparation, ensure providing correct information to be applied for the declaration to the agents
3. Supervising the agents to follow the efficient process agreed by both company and service parties to ensure the period of custom clearance under more effective without any unreasonable delay to be presented
4. Logistic cost capture and assist manager on budget allocation, providing reports on freight spending
5. Assist Manger to monitor and evaluate transport service provider’s performance and conduct periodic quality reviews
6. Ensure all the related service, process and documentations is in compliance with government or country – specific legal laws and regulations
7. Maintain good relationship with CIQ/customs and authorities
8. Provide support with Sales /Sourcing /Warehouse and other department regarding logistic issue
Required skills
1. College and above degree
2. About 2 or 3 years working experience in logistic and export /import custom clearance
3. Teamwork and good communicator
4. Good command of the English language and PC skills
