职位描述
Basic Requirements:
--A Bachelor degree in Engineering
--10 plus years of quality related experience and understanding of
product development, --manufacturing, quality control, and service.
--5 plus years in leading and managing people through a
change/rapid growth process.
--Implementing new processes, procedures and responsibilities,
extraction and analysis of data from MRP/ERP system.
--Training and experience in Toyota Production System (TPS) or
equivalent a plus.
--Self-motivated and customer oriented to achieve results
--Ability to handle stress and have a “Sense of Urgency” in
resolving quality issues
--Solid command of English language
--Good communication / presentation skills
--Strong leadership, change agent, and influencing skills
--Problem Solving – Expert knowledge and use of Pareto Analysis, 5
Whys, 8 step RCCM tools.
--Project Management
--Good organizational skills
--Computer proficient: Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project
--Ability to manage for results across functional and cultural
boundaries
--Ability to motivate and build positive relationships
--Ability to continuously improve material management process
using lean principles
--Balances expectations of multiple parties
--Communicates effectively up and down the organization
--Financial acumen
Responsibilities:
--Lead and Manage Quality Team
-Create department vision for growth and continuous quality improvement
– Strategic planning.
-Set quality goals, objectives and metrics for the departments.
Leverage best practices and develop sustainable process accordingly. – Tactical
Planning
-Set and implement Quality Management Policies consistent with
organization objectives
-Lead and support Pentair Lean initiatives for improvement relating
to labor productivity, inventory accuracy, process quality, and quality control
of materials
-Promote Total Quality management philosophy within company, cross
site and cross GBU
--Create a Safe Working Environment
-Enforce compliance with administrative policies, procedures,
safety rules, and government regulations
--Ensure Quality Product and Process
-Implement and monitor accuracy of Quality Data
-Promote statistical and scientific tools/methods to support
operations and business with quality data to make the best decisions
-Develop and set the appropriate lab and field tests requirement
to ensure product quality
-Work with Engineering, Customer Service, and cross functions to
investigate and address all product failures
-Apply, update, and maintain all appropriate agency listing and
certification
-Maintain and update ISO 9000 Certification as needed
-Implement effective Root Cause Countermeasures (RCCM) through
proper data analysis for product failures and missed targets
-Create standard work for quality layer audits of processes to
ensure sustainability of desire results
--Meet Quality Service to Customer’s Expectation
-Manage product quality to ensure delivery schedule meets customer
expectation
-Manage and streamline incoming inspection and testing requirement
ensure no delay in production schedule
-Effective use of PPAP process to ensure product launch or
transfer meet customer timeline expectation
--Manage Department Budget (Cost and Cash)
-Prepare, forecast, and manage annual department budget to meet
plant goals and objectives.
-Develop and execute quality strategy for year over year (YOY)
improvement in indirect labor cost
-Management of internal testing scrap and failure to ideal state
of Zero.
--Develop Talent
-Set
achievable yet stretch annual employee performance targets
-Complete
and deliver fair, accurate and meaningful employee performance reviews
-Responsible
for department win right culture and adherence to company policies and
procedures - Award and discipline as appropriate
-Develop talent via training and career path discussions - Find
opportunities to grow talent within department
-Develop and coach team members to continue their personal growth
in lean knowledge and skill
