Minimum Position Specifications:
1. Quote raw material with competitive unit price to support for winning new RFQ business
2. Commodity material localization for annual cost saving
3. Good supplier and material management, identify right material source for urgent material demand
4. New Local Vendors/ Materials sourcing and development, qualify local vendors together with engineering and quality teams
5. Good sense of raw material global market and capable to perform professional material cost analysis.
6. Maintain approved supplier database/ AVL list optimize and update


Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Execute company sourcing strategies to meet business development needs and material requirements with good quality, on time delivery with competitive cost.
2. Work with regional sourcing team and Global Commodity Leaders to make sure RFQ quoting effectively with quick response and competitive unit price for RFQ components.
3. Need to effectively negotiate with oversea vendors via conference call.
4. Propose value added alternative or resources for materials improvement.
5. Localization of certain materials, such as connectors, contact pin, Cable, Wire, Electronic and Electrical Parts, etc, to set up good contracted terms, competitive price with vendor.
6. Develop new suppliers, survey, perform audit and qualify/approve suppliers together with related departments.
7. Good supplier and material management, regular supplier performance review to drive for continuous supplier improvement on OTD/quality/price/service.
8. Coordinate supplier management activities with related departments, such as operation, quality, engineering and quoting team etc. to make sure good OTD, quality and service.
9. Maintain supplier price and AVL supplier information to make sure the most update information is properly in place.
10. Support buyer team on new business development needs, provide on time delivery of materials for FA making.
11. Effective communication with cross function team members on problem solving.
12. Other jobs and responsibilities assigned by direct leader.
