Role Summary/Purpose

This includes leading the teams to grow magnet business and develop competitive supplier base in China

Essential Responsibilities

• Key sourcing leadership position responsible for the primary interface between for the assigned magnet product development teams and the Global Sourcing team. • Analyse and implemnet strategic opportunities to grow magent business by leveraging the current and future China supplier base. • Lead industry research and steer supplier development activities to meet the business growth needs with very competitive supplier chain set up. • Manage the virtual team, be responsible for the total cost, schedule and quality of the business delivery. • Lead the magnet supplier selection and development, including managing technical assessment of manufacturing process requirements • Performing detailed cost analysis of components & manufacturing processes with the communication ability to work with the supply base and give direction towards the highest quality at the lowest cost solution. • Responsible for managing the business review process with preferred suppliers to ensure that supplies market trends, supplier performance and future business needs is aligned. • Manage project to drive magnet part localization and supplier fair activities with global sourcing team and modality team.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management 2. Minimum of 7 years experience in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, or Supply Chain. 3. Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization 4. 3+ years work experience… technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodity or product. 5. Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers 6. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time

Desired Characteristics

Preferred Qualifications:1. Master in Engineering or Business Administration 2. 10 years solid engineering, sourcing, or supply chain experience including 3 years in a leadership capacity. 3. Practical experience in balancing and optimizing engineering process rigor with business delivery priorities. 4. Excellent program/project management experience with the ability to develop and execute on integrated program plans. 5. Extensive global experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams 6. Proven Executive Leadership skills in driving Global change across an organization, including strong Change Acceleration Process skills. 7. Demonstrated ability to lead courageously, maintaining a strong position amidst opposition to resolve important issues, and ability to navigate through a large complex business. 8.
