Job description:
As the System Architect, you work in Ningbo managing a team of highly experts
professionals in software engineering and architecture as well as providing process
and people leadership in order to establish common practices, innovation and skills
leveraging for architecture teams
? Responsible for understanding and analyzing IT projects technical
requirements
? Investigate, coordinate with senior technical teams and provide technical
solution and best practices to the customers
? Engage with customer at concept stage and assist technical decision making
? Be aligned with and company strategy
? Translation of project's technical requirements and communication to offshore
teams
? Meet established priorities and schedules for multiple projects and customers
? Demonstrate leadership and provide direction and guidance
? Establish and nurture productive working relationships with appropriate
customer business units and external parties, to develop business success
? Assist in all necessary project phases for development and support activities
including test, requirements gathering, and fit / gap analysis
? Coach junior staff and provide input/assistance based on related experience
and expertise
? Support team objectives and activities as well as personal job-related skill
development and career-growth
? Create and implement career development plan for software architects and
technical leaders
? Manage the career of technical staff

Requirements:
? 10+ years of experience in Application Development and Maintenance
projects and teams.
? Experience in resources management (~ 30 FTE team) in a matrix structure,
with dotted line reports for business and delivery senior managers.
? Ability to promote transformations and performance enhancement within his
scope of work through innovation and leadership.
? Enthusiasm for problem solving, software development process, tireless work
for continuous improvement, constantly putting the bar at a higher level to deliver
more value to our business partners.
? Work cohesively with other groups or teams within the organization or clients
on project/support related matters and jointly determine engagement strategy.
? Ability to build team relationships, managing dynamics to help develop skills
for quick and continuous growth.
? Excellent listening, coaching, communication, group facilitation and conflict
resolution skills.
? Advanced english skills [other languages]
? Proven track record of delivering systems with high and medium complexity
architecture in more than one field
? Previous experience managing of technologies including:
o web-based (Open Source or MS Sharepoint)
o .Net /J2EE
o SQL/Oracle database
o Mobile (iOS/Android) is a plus
? Fluent English AND Mandarin

? Willingness to travel and work in other sites / countries.
