Position Overview:
The Management Assistant will provide administrative and management support to the Chief Business Officer and to his/her teams.

Reports to:
Chief Business Officer

Essential Duties:
1. Review and summarize various reports and documents collected from various functional teams; prepare background documents and outgoing communication that will help University management and Board committee members make key decisions.
2. Perform online search of benchmark information in support of the financial and administrative functions.
3. Be responsible for calendar management and interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, to coordinate a variety of complex tasks in support of the teams.
4. Perform diverse scheduling, travel arrangements, event planning, translation and interpretation, and coordinating tasks.
5. Answer phone calls from clients, service providers, and partner organizations and respond to their inquiries.
6. Receive and interact with incoming visitors
7. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
8. Partner with other functional staff to accomplish tasks.
9. Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications:
1. Candidate should possess an undergraduate degree. Graduate degree is preferred.
2. 2+ years of experience in business, audit, finance/accounting, HR or other related positions. An aptitude for performing administrative tasks desired.
3. Ability to resolve complex administrative problems independently.
4. Excellent organizational skills and excellent problem-solving ability.
5. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential.
6. Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.
7. Have good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Adapt well to new technologies.
8. Ability to work within a team environment.
