Qualifications: (Knowledge, skills, competencies)
1. MS/PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics or a related field
2. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing large-scale omics data (e.g., Microarray, SNP array, RNA-seq, NGS) in academia or Industry.
3. Proficient in at least one scripting language and one statistical language (R preferred)
4. Ability to work under Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
5. Be able to work both independently and as member of project teams.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Background in cancer biology is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Analyze large-scale heterogeneous biological data for biomarker discovery.
2. Interpret analysis results using a combination of methods and tools such as pathway and network analysis, text mining and comparative genomics.
3. Participate research projects and work closely with research scientists to provide scientific input, bioinformaticssupport and results delivery.
4. Communicate research results to internal and external audience by tec.
