职位描述
Job Responsibilities:
1. Server support: RDBMS server and client installation, patching and updates
2. User and application support: server account creation and monitoring, and activity auditing and application performance tuning
3. Capability planning: by working with System admins, to determine and configure hardware and network requirements for the database servers and applications
4. Solutions for high data integrity, data availability and disaster recovery (backups)
5. Involved in the data modelling process, and the mapping between logical model to physical model
6. Documentation and revision control of database meta information, including schema, parameter setting, user-defined procedures, functions and packages etc.
7. Available for the joint on-call system
Requirements:
Bachelor degree with 3 years experience. The skill set include
1. Good understand of Oracle architecture, and excellent ability in performance tuning by using query plan
2. Expert-level of SQL, code with PL/SQL, shell and Perl/Python. Knowledge with Java/C/C++ is a plus. Experience in data model tool, such as Erwin, is a plus
3. Fluent in RDBMS-specific server management and tuning tools and packages, or the generic tool such as Toad
4. Database warm and cold backups
5. Experiences in database replication and standby technologies
6. Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, and attention to the details.
