Requirements:

1. B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering

2. At least 5 years work experience in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering area

3. Logical thinking, trouble shooting, and problem solving skill

4. Good team player and customer orientation mindset

5. Can work under high pressure

6. Self-initiated, self-motivate, and minimum supervision

7. Results-oriented

8. Proficient at process simulation software tool

9. Proficient at 3D CAD and AutoCAD

10. Strong knowledge & application experience, and certified in Lean Manufacturing principle

11. Knowledge & experience, and certified in statistical methods and quality tools, such as SPC, FMEA(PFMEA/DFMEA), DOE and MSA

12. Good skills of project management

13. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and understand common process problems

14. Knowledge and use of manufacturing assembly tools

15. Knowledge of Process management and improvement

16. Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently

Responsibilities:

1. Lead cross-functional teams on Lean Manufacturing project within plant to optimize efficiency and eliminate wastes
2. Provide Engineering support and recommendation to existing and new products to increase manufacturing capabilities, increase quality, reduce production lead-time or through-out time, and decrease processing costs
3. Work with Manufacturing Engineer to standardize/simplify manufacturing processes and methods
4. Work with production to standardize/simplify material handling processes and methods
5. Incorporate product quality and productivity improvement considerations into work methods
6. Review and involve in DFMEA/PFMEA, Product/process control. Familiar and hands on product assembly process
7. Define process manufacturing flow and material flow
8. Using computer and software tool to design manufacturing work-cells simulation
9. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements
10. Using CAD to design layout modeling of facility, production, equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
11. Designate a production area, set up workstation, balance line and time study
12. Create Make vs. Buy analysis. Provide estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs information for management decision
13. Using quality tool to identify problems, diagnose root causes, problem solving, and determine & implement corrective, preventive actions, and error proof system
14. Working with Manufacturing and Safety Engineers to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy working environment.
15. Present IE concept and provide the related knowledge training to drive the efficiency improvement activities of operation resource
16. Other duties as assigned
