Position: Business Development Manager Japan
Client: Family owned German FMCG Company
Salary: 25.000 - 30.000 RMB Base Salary, plus attractive allowance package
Location: Shanghai, China
Responsibilities:
- Support distributors for business development and sales initiatives
- Manage and monitor distributors (e.g. demand planning, logistics, delivery dates, order mgmt.)
- Identify new opportunities in the Japanese market/build up network
- Drive distributor excellence and process improvement projects
- Support global Sales and BD initiatives and successfully implement them in the regional market
- Promote Company brands and image in the Japanese market by driving BD/Sales projects
- Other jobs assigned by Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree
- 4-6 years working experience in an international FMCG company and/ or FMCG distributor
- 2-3 years Sales and Business Development experience
- Fluent in English and Japanese
- Business development know-how
- Pro-active distributor support and controlling
- Project Management
- Sufficient IT skills, particularly with respect to MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Sound communication and networking skills
- Hands-on mentality and a strong customer focus
- High level of stress resistance and deadline oriented working style
- Able to take initiatives as well as to work in an international team
