MAJOR SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overall products quality and profitability inclusive of outsourcing products
1. Leads product engineering department improving product yield & costs (Gross, Std and Variable)
2. Manage and improve product quality and reliability
3. Identifies low margin product lines and/or customers and works with Product Marketing and/or Manufacturing on improvement activities
4. Coordinates global benchmarking activities related to the silicon product lines
5. Responsible for Annual SAP Product Accounting information update
6. Ensures a comprehensive product quality history/matrix for every product
7. Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strong advocate for Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA)
8. Originates, approves, executes and/or analyzes experiments to provide documented proof of changes to a test or assembly process will result in improve yield, better device performance and/or enhanced reliability and the cause of the problem has been identified
9. Drives Change management covering Process Change Notifications (PCN)
10. Analyzes backlog to ensure product requirements can/will be met

Ensures seamless processing of product lines between wafer fabrication, chip testing, device assembly & molding, and device test
1. Works to optimize engineering staff organizational development
2. Interfaces with manufacturing teams and other departments to address and resolve product issues
3. Provides engineering support by assisting the identification and troubleshooting of yield problems and device performance deterioration
4. Works with Production Control to set MRP planning yields as necessary
5. Evaluates lots rejected by Device, Process, Quality, and Test Engineering to determine “fit for use” or appropriate rework procedures as the situation may require
6. Monitors and debugs manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure quality requirements and throughput needs are maintained

Acts as internal consultant/authority in matters related to silicon product lines
1. Primary interface with Marketing and Development Engineering to evaluate new products and special devices for product viability and suitable manufacturing methods.
2. Reviews, recommends and approves changes to drawings for Wafer Fab, Device Assembly and Molding, Chip and Device Test to improve product quality/flow or ensure customer specifications are satisfied.
3. Ensures that product data and product performance support data sheet content.

Designs, implements and maintains management systems, processes, equipment and tools, which ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Provides training, protective equipment, specifications and supervision to emphasize safety in every area. Is vigilant in the prevention, detection, communication and correction of any potentially unsafe condition.



Position Requirements
1.Bachelors degree (Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an accredited university or equivalent education/experience. Course work in semiconductors or electronics desirable
2.Training or course work in Design of Experiments, statistical process control, Total Quality Management, project management and time management.

Concord Semiconductor (Wuxi) was established in Nov. 2002. As the largest semiconductor manufacturing plant of Littelfuse we have industry-leading process and world-class management system.Wuxi FAB building was established in 2007. With the completed transition of semiconductor production lines from US & Mexico, and the on-going transition efforts from Taiwan, Wuxi plant will play an increasingly important role in Littelfuse.
 
The Littlefuse Dongguan, located in Humen Dongguan owns perfect traffic condition and prosperous economy, was established in 2007 and is mainly focused on piezo-resistor’s design, manufacture and technological services.Our products are widely used in automotive, industrial equipment and various consumer electronic products; we provide systematic support for customers in the overvoltage protection (lightning protection), static electricity protective, etc.
