Basic Responsibilities

(1) Contract Review: conduct daily review on all long-term contracts and NE contracts; monitor and improve process for contract development and maintenance; advise all levels of business partner on a broad array of business transactions; update and develop standard documentation in order to protect company’s best interest on contractual commitment, balance and optimize risks, gain greater commercial benefits and ensure company is protected legally.

(2) Preview of collection and non-collection cases: be responsible to the preparation of the evidence and cases review before filing lawsuit.

(3) The daily collection effort: will participate in the daily AR collection coordination meeting and provide advices on the collection efforts to the zone people and financial credit control team.

(4) Claims and Governmental Investigation: Initiate, defend, and settle of claims, demands and litigation; monitor compliance with the progress of court, employment tribunal, arbitration, proceedings, tax appeal, AQSIQ and other regulatory investigations in order to limit the company’s payoff to legitimate and enforceable claims and ensure the company’s interests are protected;

(5) Compliance and corporate government issues: Direct and conduct the company secretarial and corporate “house-keeping” services for company, XEEC and all branch offices; monitor and improve process for corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the areas of elevator industry specified codes and regulations, AML, and business registration, etc.

(6) Training: Defines the legal & compliance training programs for the company and preparing the training materials; provide various training to the employees and business partners.

(7) L-8A policy compliance: Conduct investigation and interview to the candidate of the sales representative and the distributor as requested by the L-8A policy.

(8) IPR Protection: Implement the company’s IPR protection strategy by regularly filing and renewing the trademark registration, patent, and copyright.

Qualifications

(1) Bachelor of law or above from a reputable university;

(2) Admitted to practice in China.

(3) 1-3 years legal practice experiences or experiences in a corporate legal department.

(4) Have professional skills, including mature, independent judgment, excellent communication, and multicultural interpersonal skills.

(5) Language proficiency must be fluency (both spoken and in writing) in English and Mandarin.

(6) Very good computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office document, such as word, excel and power points.

(7) A strong team player.
