Overall this engineer should be a highly energetic and motivated individual who has 7 - 10 years experience in the automotive industry. Must have good written and oral communication skills and be able to work efficiently in cross-functional teams. Bachelor of Science or higher degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering from noteworthy university needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Strong technical knowledge on machining (CNC) related manufacturing engineering (process and equipment) and very hands on problem solving.

- In depth CNC grinding and heat treat experience as well as CNC turning, milling

- In depth knowledge about cutting tooling, design and fabrication.

- Experience in project management with new production line set up

- Take ownership with line yield improvement and Excellence in process development.

- Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.

- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

- Good CNC equipment fundamental knowledge

- Responsible for relate equipment selection & ROI computation.

- Perform manufacturing process capability study/production capacity analysis.

- Outline and release work instruction, engineering related procedures.

- Build and retain highly motivated engineering team to pursuing engineering and new equipment /technology excellence.

- Lead team to provide daily support to production line. Drive engineering team to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assigned.

- Prepare engineering manpower planning and budget base on business needs.

- Work together with cross functions to achieve expected productivity and quality goal.

- Drive engineering team to looking for cost reduction opportunities and have cost saving through continuous process improvement

- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelors Degree in engineering with exceptional university background. Master in engineering is a plus.

- More than 10 years related experience in machining and at least engine working experience, fuel system experience is a plus.

- Have machining experience and precision grinding working experience is a must.

- Have heat treat experience.

- Work experience in MNC will be a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

- Knowledge in diesel fuel systems or engine manufacturing a must.

- Experience in high precision machining, grinding cleanness, heat treat and assembly.

- Organizational skills and project planning skills.

- Problem solving abilities to drive process improvement activates and clean kill process and quality issues.

- Experience in managing a diverse engineering staff including manufacturing engineers, metallurgists, industrial engineers and process technicians.

- Lean manufacturing and six sigma experience in automotive environment.

- Overall knowledge in TS16949 documentation and procedures

- Experience with automotive APQP activates and working closely with customers to complete projects.

- Good English skills needed to communicate with USA based staff.
