Primary Function of the Position:
To provide continual improvement and development of the Human Resource (HR) function in line with the company's Vision and Strategy
The role requires close working relationships with the following stakeholders:
? HR Team
? Senior Leadership Team
? People Leaders
? Informal Leaders
? Subject Matter Experts Interaction, communication, and relationship building is required with:
? Invacare HR teams globally
? External agencies and consultancies
? HR professionals from other organizations
Decision Making Authority:
The incumbent in this role holds joint responsibility for decisions relating to:
? Implementation of HR initiatives
? Advice to People Leaders
? Development and execution of people-related systems and processes
? Learning and development program design and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Systems Auditing and Redevelop
? Audit and redevelop current HR policies and processes, in line with organizational culture
? Construction and management of the "People Leaders Toolkit"
? Up-skill and develop People Leaders in line with a decentralized HR model
2. Learning and Development Implementation ? Develop and deliver workshops in line with the Learning and Development Strategy, addressing technical and leadership skill development
? Develop Learning and Development strategy tools to encourage managers to improve company as a learning organization
3. Operational Human Resources Support to People Leaders ? Recruitment and selection for high-end roles such as professionals and management team positions, focusing on internal applications, interviews, and psychometric testing
? Psychometric interpretation to hiring managers
? Coach People Leaders on management of performance management issues, disciplinary processes, misconduct, change management, team culture and dynamics
? Provide general HR advice and support
Key Challenges of the Position:
? The ability to work in a changeable environment, in which success relies on the ability to be adaptable
? The need for considerable influencing skills to ensure buy-in for new initiatives

Required:
? Degree in Human Resources or similar
? 5 years' experience in generalist HR advisory role(s)
? Experience in design and development of HR systems
? Experience with working autonomously
? Training/experience in psychometrics and Learning and Development (desirable)
? Leadership experience (desirable)
? Business experience outside of HR function (desirable)
Specific Knowledge and Skills for the Position:
? Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships
? Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including strong influencing skills and the ability to bring about a sense of urgency
? Knowledge of Learning and Development concepts and philosophies
? Ability to build credibility with others easily and quickly
? Strong organizational skills including the ability to set and maintain clear priorities
? Excellent coaching skills and the ability to use these effectively
? Computer and technology skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
? Understands and models highly effective leadership skills
? Knowledge of HR information systems (desirable)
