Job description
Mechanical engineer with responsibilities that range from mechanical design to product release for the design, integrity, and analysis of barcode scanners; Areas of responsibility include defining requirements, performing analysis, producing designs/drawings, building prototypes,and verification & validation of end products. Mechanical engineer should suport the continuous improvement according to HOS and VPD requirements.
1. New product developping from concept, speficication, design and verification to releasing to production;
2. Technical support to sourcing, manufacturing and other departments.
3. Identify innovations improving functionality, quality or cost of current company products.
Mechanical Engineering education background, bachelor degree with 5 years minimum new prouct development experience. Or a master degree with equivalent project experience
1. 3D design tool professional, Pro/E is prefered;
2. Knowledge of material and design guidelines for plastic, metal and die cast parts, knowledge on molding structure/fabrication, injection process/defects analysis is plus;
3.Capable on performing tolerance analysis and DFMEA,
4. Experience of technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing;
5. Knowledge of DG&T is a plus;
6. Design experience with optical or acoustic consideration is a plus;
7. Knowledge or experience on FEA is a plus
