Main Activities:
The fast growing for the Laser Welding Segment in China LPKF requires the expansion of its local service resources. Responsible for leading the WQ Service Team, the Team Leader for Laser Plastic Welding will work in China with the sales team and the German service department as well as the German project engineers to identify and communicate solutions to meet customer business/project needs.
Qualification:
Minimum 5 years working experience in the field of technical field service
Good knowledge in optical, mechanical & electronic system
Bachelor degree of Electronics-Mechanical background or equivalent in related discipline required
Good PLC programming experience, familiar with Siemen S7
Fluent in both oral and written English
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Experience in automotive or laser industry is a plus
Tasks and competences:
Responsible for coordinating service tasks in China together with service back office in Germany
First level field service on laser equipment, including trouble shooting/installation/testing/training/application etc.
Works cross-functionally within the organization and with external partners, integrators and vendors
Frequent travelling in China is required
