Job Description
The mission of the Site Engineer is to guarantee the Client Satisfaction and the quality of the
Plants Assembly - respecting costs and project times - through the analysis and the management
of the various realizing Project activity (on site), from opening site phase till its closing.
1,Planning of Assembly activities
* To plan and to manage the site activity and the site staff
* To organize the site logistics
2,Control of site Assembly operation (Time and Quality)
* To verify the work in progress and to approve and submit to the Site Manager suppliers'
SAL operating on site guaranteeing a correct monitoring and information reporting.
* To point out with the greater possible advance events that could create criticism impacting
on the economic project situation and on the contractual engagements towards the Client.
To estimate and to organize possible corrective actions
* To analyse and to estimate data on site resources and on the activity work in progress
* To verify in the quality of the assembled products
* To verify the respect of the safety site conditions.
* To verify in constant way costs concerning the non quality promoting (in agreement with
the Company Direction) possible corrective actions
* To write and to send to Site Manager specific reports concerning the work in progress and
possible criticisms
3, Relationship with the Client
* To manage the relationship with the Client in order to guarantee cooperation and an
optimal management
* He is responsible for the Client Satisfaction concerning the agreed aims in terms of time
* To verify with the Client the mutual respect of the agreed engagements, founding, if
necessary, actions in order to safeguard technical temporal and qualitative contents of the
project.
* In the development of the various activities the Site Engineer can be helped by one or
more support people considering site entity/criticism
* In order to guarantee a good management of the Dept activities the Site Engineer reports,
with weekly cadence (or other project specification), to the Site Manager about the work in
progress and criticisms.
SKILLS:
- Age: between 25 and 45 years old
- Languages: English (write and read)
- Knowledge of technical drawings
- Computer skills:
o MS - Office
o MS - Autocad
o MS - Project
- Knowledge of Product (paint shop plant - piping mechanical erection)
