The China Product Manager – Pressure Control is a key role within the Surface Product Platform. This role was created to provide the focus, vision and leadership required to develop GE Oil & Gas within the Shale Gas market to specifically grow GE Pressure Control products’ market share and contribution margin in the Great China region

Essential Responsibilities

• Drive NPI in China Shale Gas market – work with China GGO and Oil & Gas cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful NPI launch. • Develop and execute profitable and sustainable growth strategy for Pressure Control product line, including long term product roadmaps, requirements, business plans by working in a multi-functional organization, including marketing, sales, CommOps, engineering, supply chain and services teams • Lead, develop and execute go-to-market plan and be accountable for NPI commitments including launch schedules, sales and CM performance. • Track and monitor customer interactions for quality/consistency of delivery, in charge of overall customer satisfaction including NPS for flow, projects, and services; issue resolution, returned goods (RMA), and technical support • Liaise with Client and undertake local Voice-of-Customer meetings to understand the future needs and ensure we have a robust technical and commercial roadmap • Be responsible for benchmarking our competitors in the region; and develop plans to address our weaknesses and capitalize on our strengths; • Understand segmentation of local market by technical and commercial capability; • Understand historical market size and share, and develop frame agreements with our client. • Support sales with high quality technical presentations, and at key bid clarification meetings as required • Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures, maintain focus on Strategic Objectives and Goals; • Implement EHS policies and procedures in all activities. Provide leadership and accountability in the pursuance of these activities; • Work with Marketing to identify size and shape of the targeted markets. Identify strengths and weaknesses in competitors.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Deep understanding of China Surface wellhead and X-mas Trees market• At least 10 years sales, marketing or product management experience in related industry• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field, MBA or graduate degree is desired • Deep product management expertise, including: New Product introductions, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management, • Experience successfully translating customer insights into product requirements • Demonstrated strategic and process skills with proven ability to execute • Proven ability to effectively work in a matrix environment and communicate with & influence all levels of the organization to drive change • Strong Leadership skill, demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple demands and stakeholders and work in a team-oriented culture • Fluent in English and Mandarin
