Responsibilities:
To manage all aspects of implementation of new PDCs (Product Distribution Centers) for requesting
Product Groups over the entire project life cycle (Qualification, Concept, Solution, Implementation,
Agreements (SoWs), Go Live Readiness, Process Owner Transition, Post Implementation Audit, and
Lessons Learned). Ensure conformance with Product Group program management requirements by utilizing
standard tools and processes, facilitating status reviews, and providing unbiased evaluations of program
status and risk. Serve as a subject matter expert in project management, using best practice methodologies
to effectively manage scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction. Ensure all projects deliver
required results on time and on budget. Facilitate project planning workshops, team meetings and
stakeholder updates/presentations.
- Ensure project plan compliance.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Mitigate project risk by identifying, managing and/or implementing the approved actions.
- Monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required
corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan.
- Create a project organization structure and develop and execute the communication plan.
- Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.
- Build team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating.
- Communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand.
- Identify and facilitate PDC implementation opportunities for continues improvement in planning and
implementation process, tools and templates.
To develop, implement and manage key project related activities in support of existing and future Product
Distribution Centers and new products coming into the PDC's.
Qualifications
- Project Management knowledge (both tools (MS Project 2000) and process).
- High level of Personal & Team motivation
- Disciplined Logical and analytical
- Process focused
- High degree of professionalism and communication skills to support both client and internal interfacing
(up to senior management level)
- Overall automotive/logistics/supply chain knowledge
- Commercial knowledge & awareness
- Graduate with 10 years experience
-Implementation and facility start-up experience required.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience as Black Belt, Functional Project Team leader and/or L-NPI Coordinator
- PMI certification (CAPM or PMP)
- Experience in Cat Logistics and/or supply chain/logistics
- Previous Commercial or Client facing experience
