Position Overview
This position is responsible for design, develop and debug modem firmware. It Locates in the High Tech Industrial Park, Nanshan Shenzhen.
Responsibilities
? Develop and debug modem firmware;
? Develop customer specific features;
? Lead and coordinate trouble shooting activities within Firmware R&D, coordinate with customer engineer team, other R&D teams (SDK, host driver) to provide high standard quality support tor key Sierra Wireless customers
Requirements
? BSEE/CS is mandatory.
? At least 1 year’ work experience in embedded software development.
? Good skills in embedded C programming.
? Familiar with RTOS.
? At least familiar with one embedded CPU architecture, such as ARM.
? Hands on experience in embedded software development/debugging method and tools
? Proactive working attitude. Being able to work independently and as a good team player.
? Good communication skills. Fluent verbal and written English is an essential.
? Experience and knowledge in one or several of the following areas will be a plus:
o Peripheral device interface and driver – I2C/UART/SPI/SDIO/GPIO/PCM/I2S/MIPI
o Audio
o USB
o Linux device driver development
o Development experience on Qualcomm LTE platforms
