Getinge Infection Control is looking for a professional Sourcing Engineer to run sourcing projects, both local and global, as part of their established and recognized in Suzhou.

Job purpose:

Support the infection control factroies and business around the world with regards to their sourcing needs from China, securing quality and competitiveness of the business.

Key responsiblities and accountabilities:
1.Develop global sourcing sales within Infection Control factories globally towards annual individual annual targets

2.Develop and maintain strong / healthy supplier relationships

3.Deliver service and value to customers by following the Sourcing Manual and made follow up on made commitments

4.Price and forecast review with supplier and customer according to agreement
5.Project update and reports to management

6.Weekly project update meeting with overseas customers
7.Monitor suppliers and supplier quality by developing and carrying out quality control procedures

8.Supplier contract initiation, maintenance and management
9.Prepare transfer material to logistics department once project finished
10.Continuous cost down and localization activity
11.Secure delivery quality and lead time to customer with help from SQE and logistics
12.To carry out any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor and work in accordance with legal requirements and the company regulations

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanics or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years's experience in similar role
• A strong commitment to make and do things in accordance with specifications and regulations
• An uncompromising approach to any risk that may cause non conformance and failure to meet customer commitments
• Teamwork with all participants in sourcing projects
• Integrity, drive and passion to develop suppliers
• Attention to details
• Strong quality and cost saving consciousness
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
