Main activities:

· Mechanical aptitude for building of prototypes

· Manage / find rapid prototyping suppliers (silicone molds, cnc, sla, rapid tooling)

· Ensure quality product is produced to drive customer satisfaction

· Manage the prototypes

· Use manufacturing engineering skills to ensure a quality product

· Use engineering skill to reduce costs

· Developing of new application

· Support other departments with know-how of prototype technology

· Risk assessment of the project regarding costs and time-line

Generell duties:

· Economic and resource-saving way of operation

· Compliance with the work safety guidelines

· Compliance with the predefined technical and economic project objectivities

Knowledge and skills:

· Experienced in plastic materials properties and characteristics

· Experience in plastic injection molding processing

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to effectively organize workload and manage multiple deliverables

· Ability to collaborate and provide solution sets to engineering design teams

· Strong communication skills

· Team oriented way of work

· Ability to self-organisation

· Trusted art of working

· Able to work in MS Office applications and CAD software (NX, CATIA)

· Good English

· Available to travel
