Enable company growth and profitability by leading the effort to develop a talented and engaged workforce for Datacolor in China at our Suzhou &Shanhaioffices. Key focus of the role will be to coordinate and implement high quality HR policies and training and development programs. He/She will oversee the recruiting, hiring and development of a talented workforce forDatacolorin China.
The position will cover maternity leave of the China HR Manager for a period of 4 months with full HR generalist responsibilities. During this time the role would report to the VP of Operations in China and global HR Director. Thereafter, the position will be a specialist role focusing primarily on talent development initiatives and strategic HR projects reporting to the HR Manager for China.
Key responsibilities:
? Manage the HR function for a geographic area with an employee base of approx. 130 staff across the Shanghai and Suzhou sites during the maternity period.
? Develop a comprehensive training & development curriculum to support first class employee and manager professional development. Works to ensure that career and training opportunities are being identified.
? Oversee hey HR operations activities including payroll administration, and compensation and benefit programs during the maternity period.
? Be a business partner of the site management teams in Suzhou and Shanghai.
? Proactively drives organizational and talent development priorities.
? Embed KPI's and initiatives tomeasure and improve human capital practices within the organization.
? Provides coaching support and best practices to the leadership team on development of top talent and performance management of bottom talent.
? Assists line managers in developing skills to manage people more effectively through coaching, instruction and training.
? Delivers HR products and services that are considered value added, measurable, directly tied to business objectives and aimed at increasing employee engagement.
? Leads in implementing HR policies and procedures as well as monitoring the effectiveness of these programs.
? Serves as a resource for legal/HR issues and ensures local compliance with employment laws.
? Ensures that local management teams are trained on recruiting procedures; and that appropriate attention is placed on employee retention issues.
? Implements and tracks national training initiatives and basic HR management and leadership training programs.
? Supports and champions organizational change initiatives.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
? Five years overall HR experience with expertize in training and talent development best practices.
? Must have a proven track record of progressive human resource experience.
? Good English language skills essential
