Key Responsibilities:
1. Support AMT team members to develop Digital Instrumentation system and low cost machine vision system
2. Conduct data acquisition from sensors, data analyzation and processing for the Digital Instrumentation system
3. Work with AMT team members to implement algorithms for the mini-camera according to the customized applications in TE plants
4. Use Raspberry Pi to develop applications of Digital Instrumentation
5. Use mathematical formulas and tools to calculate and analyze the manufacturing system performance parameters like throughput, machine utilization rate, OEE etc. Optimize the system according to the analyzation results
6. Create optimized logistics for the AIVs (Automated Intelligent Vehicles) using optimization methods
7. Support AMT electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, machine vision engineer and robotics engineer in daily work
Key Requirements:
1. Curious in new technologies in Digital Manufacturing and/or Machine Vision. Eager to learn new technologies
2. Experience in data analyzation and processing with professional software tools
3. Solid mathematical background, in particular, in vector operations and matrix operations. Solid background in statistics
4. Know-how of sensors, signal acquisition and processing and machine vision technologies
5. Know-how in Industrial and System Engineering, and the performance parameters of the industrial manufacturing systems is preferred
6. Experience of, or strong interest in using Raspberry Pi for programming and developing applications preferred
7. Experience of using professional software tools, such as Labview, matlab etc. for data processing is preferred
8. Experience of using C, VC++ and/or C# etc. for programming, like machine vision programming
9. A master or PhD degree candidate is preferred
10. Demonstrated excellent teamwork during working with other people
Minimum Professional Background Desired:
1. Experience in signal acquisition, analyzation and processing in lab
2. Know-how of sensors, signal acquisition and processing and/or machine vision technologies
3. Solid mathematical background, in particular, in vector operations and matrix operations
4. Familiar with C, VC++, or C# programming language or other alternative programming language
5. Experience or strong interest in machine vision programming is preferred
6. Advanced engineering degree (MS/PhD) candidate strongly preferred
