Technical Sales Manager (East & North China)

Position description


We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in P.R. China, as a Technical Sales Manager (East & North China), preferably based in East China, Suzhou – Shanghai area. In this role, you will be responsible for sales and marketing of IonPhasE’s products, technical sales & customer support in one of the most important and fastest growing areas for the Company, East & North China. You will ensure that Company’s Sales and Marketing Strategy is followed, and that set targets including sales budget in respective area is met.


You will be following existing sales and customer cases, and actively identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities in the defined focus areas of the Company. You will acquire a solid and in-depth understanding of customers’ requirements, and will establish and maintain a strong and trusted relationship them. Key part is also to provide technical support, including onsite support for customers conducting trials with our products. Furthermore, collecting market and competitor intelligence information is also important part of the role, as well as effective communication with other functions inside the Company. In addition, you will ensure that Company’s processes, tools and governance structure are followed.


In this role you will report directly to Managing Director, China.


Requirements

The keys to your success include a university degree in Plastics technology field. This academic background is further enhanced by your solid technical sales experience in plastics applications, plastics materials, compounds or plastics additives field. We also appreciate your understanding and experience in project, quality and customer relations management. As an individual, you are open-minded, dynamic, highly motivated and an enthusiastic team player. You have excellent communication and presentation skills. You should be fluent in Mandarin and have sufficient English language skills, both written and spoken. Willingness to travel is also needed.

Job requirements

1. Education and experience

教育及经历

  • BS or MSc degree in Engineering, or Business Administration.

工程方面本科或以上毕业

  • Min 3-5 years experience in technical sales in plastics applications, plastics materials, compounds or plastics additives field. Experience in extrusion and injection moulding industry preferred.

要求具有35年塑料应用方面的技术销售经验,并且对塑料材料、改性材料或塑料添加剂较为

熟悉,具有挤出和注塑方面的经验则优先考虑。

2. Special job requirements
