Requirements
1.Engineering or business management degree
preferably certified Green or Black Belt
2.10 years proven quality and management experience in industrial environment
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Quality policy: define the Unit Quality policy and priorities in order to maximize the Quality results of the Unit in terms of process efficiency (in units and at site erection) and product quality.
Quality systems & methodologies: develop, promote, drive and monitor the deployment of Quality systems, processes and tools in order to solve problems, reduce the non-quality costs and improve the overall efficiency of Unit; harmonize and standardize the Quality Assurance process and documentation ; support and monitor certification processes; regularly audit units' Quality process and site erection process, identify gaps and deviations, ensure the launch of corrections actions by units; ensure alignment of IS and business process (integral QMS).
Quality reporting: Monitor & Reports on Quality indicators of unit to UMD & PL - Ensure problem solving are launch in consistency with observed results.
Customer satisfaction: implement a customer satisfaction survey (including site erection process), analyse results and initiate corrective actions; drive the CCHS management process: follow-up new major complaints; liaise with requestors (ISO, Systems, Service) when necessary; propose improvement actions to units according to indicators' evolution.
Quality problems solving: be directly involved in problem-solving in cross-units Quality issues and major recurrent mono-unit incidents; act as facilitor to support units (diagnosis, action plan definition) and speed up the implementation; make sure that incidents are covered by efficient action plans in the GIS units and at site erection (preventive as well as corrective measures).
Interface with customers: behave as customer advocate in the Unit; ensure an effective communication with customers, including through regular customer visits; understand customers' satisfaction criteria and expectations; suggest preventive and corrective actions in order to maximize customer satisfaction; develop a customer centric organization.
Product development: coordinate with R&D, Industry and Sourcing functions to ensure that new product developments, production transfers and main suppliers changes are managed in accordance with Quality procedures; cooperate with R&D and Marketing functions to ensure that customers' expectations and return on experience are fully taken into account in product specifications.
Localization process: actively support the localization process in Asia by ensuring a regular coaching & training of the Asian Unit Quality Team.
Foster best practices exchange and promote standards: evaluate and implement in Unit observed best practice or PL / BU standards
Manage teams and develop talents: train, motivate and assess the members of Quality, EHS and SDCI departments in order to achieve the required level of competency and performance; grow talents, ensure succession planning and develop future leaders.
EHS: Obey and practice the EHS local regulcations as well as company's EHS requirement, and achieve the zero serious incident target and improve EHS performance under his management scope through leading the risk identification and control, involve in the different level EHS visits, and conduct the employee EHS trainings.
