职位描述：

• Work in a matrix environment serving all JCI business units primarily in China, but also support similar work for the rest of APAC.
• Advise the sales and procurement teams on legal issues, including contract negotiation and performance, customer disputes, product liability, etc.
• Advise the HR teams on labor issues in China (such as labor restructurings, terminations, and other labor matters) and manage legal knowledge of labor issues and policies for the APAC region in conjunction with Business Partners and Country Counsels
• Advise on intellectual property issues in China and APAC in conjunction with the global intellectual property Legal team
• As a member of the APAC Legal team, work on law department continuous improvement projects to develop legal best practices and provide trainings to business teams from an enterprise perspective, including unified negotiation approaches to commercial transactions, labor and IP issues, contract templates, contract negotiation self-help tools, policies and processes.
• Be flexible in work scope and organizational changes to provide needed legal support to meet business needs, as assigned

• Excellent academic credentials, including a LLB or JD from a highly respected law school.
• A Chinese lawyer license
• A LLM degree from a common law jurisdiction is preferred
• 5-7 years’ experience, with substantial China experience in corporate and commercial laws, sales and distribution issues, procurement and supply-chain issues, contract review, labor issues and IP issues in China.
• In-house legal experience at a multi-industrial, multinational company, China construction law experience and/or experience in common law jurisdictions a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written legal English and Chinese skills
• Be organized and able to work independently, proactively and in a self-directed manner.
