As a Program Manager on the Business Management team based in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for developing and managing programs that ensure long-term marketplace health. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and is expected to work with cross-functional stakeholders located across multiple geographies as well as external partners. It is necessary for the Program Manager to work through others, meet tight deadlines, and keep management abreast on key issues therefore a solid grasp of project management methodologies is necessary. The scope and objectives of programs will vary so you will also be responsible for building business cases, managing risks and dependencies, as well as facilitating change management.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

? Design, implement, and manage programs with broad implications on the eBay business

? Coordinate work streams that include internal and external stakeholders located in remote locations across the world and in different time zones

? Hold all areas of the business accountable for commitments (Product management, customer experience, business unit, legal, marketing, etc.)

? Resolve conflicts between stakeholders, administer change management, make key data driven program decisions, and manage to deadlines

? Build business cases, justify design decisions, and analyze business impact using statistical methods and be able to visualize and present in a clear and articulate manner

? Must brief senior management on progress against commitments, key decisions, and impact to the business

Key Skills:

? Project Management Skills (Work stream organization etc) and Techniques (PERT, Gantt, UML etc)

? Leadership: Lead and influence peers, build trust, hold others accountable, negotiate

? Time management: Manage cross work stream dependencies, prioritize, track individual tasks

? Analytical: Use statistical methods to analyze data and frame data driven arguments

? Communication: Communicate clearly with senior leadership, product management, analytics, legal, etc.

? Problem Solving: Resilient, able to handle change, find creative solutions, manage disagreements

? Ability to take a holistic, end to end view of a project yet pay close attention to details

? [Ideal] Project management certification (Prince2, PMP) or Operational Excellence certification (Six Sigma)

? [Ideal] Experience in coding any of SQL, SAS, Python, JavaScript, Java

Minimum Qualifications:
? Fluent in English & Mandarin
? 3 years’ experience as primary project or product manager
? Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in statistics, business/economics, or computer science 举报 分享
