Key responsibilities
Active Brands Shanghai Office is currently expanding at a rapid pace and we are therefore looking for a Merchandiser to join our Production team. The position requires the individual to supervise everyday activities and make sure that production processes are running efficiently. The main responsibilities will include ensuring products are delivered in exact quantity, correct color and within deadline. As merchandiser you will be responsible for gathering and communicating relevant information between fabric suppliers, garment suppliers and buying office. You will work closely with one additional merchandiser and report directly to the Production Manager.

Desired skills and expertise:
At least 3 years’ experience working as a Merchandiser.
Textile/garment educational background will be plus.
Previous experience working with sportswear considered an advantage
The ability to work both independently as well as a part of a team.
Good knowledge regarding factory processes, round knitted fabrics as well as of the workmanship of the garments.
Knowledge regarding the different testing methods is considered a plus.
Previous experience from working in factory environment is considered advantageous as frequent trips to factories primarily in Shanghai and neighboring provinces are necessary.
Great oral and written English skills.
Age: 25+
