German textile buying house/ - importer is looking for a qualified fabric QC
(male / female)
Major duties/ competences required
- inline control in selected fabric mills during production of fabric
- surveying production of trial - / test - / bulk fabric lots
- preparation of samples for testing in external institutes during
fabric production
- in - line testing / in - house testing such as WR / shrinkage /
weight / color
- preparation of QC reports for factory and in – house testing
- preparation / execution of weekly QC visiting schedules to factories
in close collaboration with merchandising / suppliers and principals
Practical experience desired in
- dyeing - / finishing and / or functional finishing / coating / lamination
- experience in shade matching / color measurement an added advantage
- able to communicate in English, both in word and writing
- versed in PC applications
Position requires extensive travelling in China.
Successful applicant would be stationed in Greater Shengze area.
