职位描述：
Summary of Position
1. This position will lead the product team to select cable part codes, make technical data sheets and test industrial cable products & applications for supporting the S&M team in achieving their sales target.
2. Developing new products based on the S&M requirements from the NPD start phase till the launch phase.
3. Good knowledge of cable applications, design rules, standards, materials and manufacturing process.
4. Highly data driven in analyzing insights regarding the daily operations of the product team.
5. Responsible for responding in a timely manner to meet the customers’ requirement as well as meeting the KPI/TTI target of the team.
6. Gathering information and analyzing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Directly manage the product team regarding new development projects, daily tasks and operations and ensuring they are completed within the specified time line.
2. Provide technical oversight and expertise as required by clearly understanding customer project technical requirements and aggressive timelines. Break project into tasks and delegate work to team members.
3. Preparing weekly reports regarding the team’s performance and reviewing it with the team to ensure smooth operations of the engineering team.
4. Interface with Sales, Production, and Quality Control for all production engineering‐related functions & schedules, daily RFQ’s and new product developments.
5. Working within cross functions of the engineering team like materials, process engineering, sample team for daily RFQ’s and new product developments.
6. Creating documented product engineering design rules that will be used by all engineers and quality department in the factory for review, testing and auditing.
7. Support the commercial & application engineer to answer any technical question.
8. Lead resolution of field technical problems and customer product issues.
9. Participate in industry conferences regarding new technologies, product designs, etc.
10. Become a member an industry committee like GB, IEC, EN, etc and regularly participate in their meetings.
11. Knowledge of cable types such as control &, instrumentation, foundation fieldbus, profibus, Ethernet, VFD, etc and its applications.
12. Creating documented product engineering design rules.

Job Requirements and Experiences
1. Proven ability to design cable products effectively & communicate recommendations to executive management.
2. Degree in engineering discipline is preferred. Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computing, Automation, and Industrial will be highly valuable.
3. Language English proficiency to communicate verbally and in writing is required.
4. Knowledge and working experiences in the low voltage wire and cable industry.
5. Minimum of 10 years in a product design engineering role and 2 years in a technical support functional role in a European MNC is highly preferred.
6. Self-discipline, proactive, initiative and willing to take on new challenges and very detailed driven to understand logic and reasoning.
7. Ability to manage a team and drive results by coaching and developing the team.
8. Able to work under pressure and willing to travel throughout the country and overseas when required.
