Key Tasks:
Source the new suppliers according to MAHLE procedure to meet cost, technical, quality and delivery requirements. Reach the agreement with supplier to gain win to win. Look for the best source for the new program to meet the program cost, timing, quality and delivery requirement.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Develop suitable supplier base for the assigned components according to related procedures and regulations.
2. Evaluate the new suppliers’ capability together with AQE and product engineer
3. Organize the supplier annual audit according to MAHLE requirement
4. Evaluate the quotation, analyze cost and select the suppliers
5. Coordinate the relationship between MAHLE and suppliers and ensure the smooth cooperation between MAHLE and suppliers.
6. Continues cost improvement with existing supplies and new suppliers.
7. Work closely with MAHLE GSM team.
8. Reach the cost saving target assigned by company.
9. Manage the RFQs for new projects in line with product line strategy.
10. Follow up supplier sample developing progress with coordination of SQAP, SQP.
11. On time sourcing for new program
12. Timely maintenance the price according to LTA.
Requirement:
1. Bachelor degree with a major in engineering/Business administration
2. 8 years of Material Purchasing experience in manufacture, commodity management of automobile industry experience is a plus.
3. Familiar with VDA6.1 and ISO9001
4. Good negotiation and communication skill, good cross-function team cooperation ability
5. Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility.
