Junior Mechanical Engineer
BU - Appliances
Location - Caohejing Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design and develop new extension products to meet customer requirements within scope (e.g., performance and quality), schedule (e.g., on time delivery), and budget (e.g., price, resource) constraints.
Work with cross functional teams on addressing product extensions, maintenance, cost savings, and any engineering issues for both existing products and new products.
Support PE to draft concepts, facilitate design reviews , tolerance analysis and DFMEA to ensure robust design with economic cost by following TE LEANPD process
Work with PLMC, EC applications and Engineering documentation management systems
Work with labs to ensure product testing schedule timely and samples’ delivery
Initiate ECR to release, reactivate, obsolete products, and draft 2D, 3D and update and release drawings in system after reviewed by PE.
Collect information such as TE/Competitor part’s data to facilitate DTV activities for cost saving.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical related major
-1 to 3 years working experiences in R&D
-Competent user of a 3D CAD application (AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks)
-Excellent Problem Solving Skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage projects with minimal supervision
-Creative and self-motivated individuals
-Capable of working in a team environment
