Main Responsibilities:

? Responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, order placement and expediting.
? Drives project purchasing to reach the purchasing KPI and systematically liaise with company purchasing strategy.
? Identify potential suppliers.
? Relationship building with existing suppliers.
? Execute supplier evaluation and cost control.
? New supplier development based on quality and cost.
? Material supply Plan and readiness for production requirements. Ensure that Purchasing deliverables are reported at the management meeting to achieve on time, on quality, esp. the first time pass rate.
? Support the technical department, understand the customer’s needs to provide cost effective quote data for the new material.
? Any other job assigned by the company.
Requirements:

? Bachelor degree with major in business management or mechanical engineering.
? At least 3 years purchasing or supply chain management experience.
? Clear knowledge on raw material cost.
? Clear knowledge on machining, casting, injection molding, stamping, surface finish process like powder coating and anodizing and process costing.
? Awareness of cost and value improvement.
? General knowledge on machinery equipment used in manufacturing plant.
? Good negotiation skills on cost and countermeasure for problem processing.
? Proficient in Purchasing procedure and policies, techniques.
? Customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
? Proactive, detail-minded, independent and a good team player.
? Excellent leadership and supervisory skills in influencing and empowering colleagues to achieve team results.
? Good communication skills for fair and justified communication both in English and Chinese.
? Able to work under pressure and multitask.
? Experience to purchase raw material from overseas.
