The main responsibilities are to manage the sourcing process and supply chain of Powertrain commodity in coordination with global strategy. He (She) will be responsible to obtain contracts with the most competitive terms and conditions, contributing to the company's revenue with the best possible quality, cost and delivery level (QDC); meeting customer's requirement, driving rationalization of work through continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
­ Monitor & Supply Powertrain Commodity market information to stakeholders.
­ Build supply base/chain for dedicated sourcing project.
­ Initiate and lead sourcing projects with cross-functional team.
­ Coordinate to develop total value analysis for sourcing projects.
­ Build supply chain for components in China in accordance with Global sourcing strategy.
­ Review and Manage supplier's quality, delivery and cost for BRM
­ Implement the company's Purchasing Processes
­ Generate ideas for meeting MPP, financial and operational targets.
­ Ensure that savings targets are achieved for Powertrain commodities
­ Build supplier relationship for strategic alignment
­ Contract negotiation: LTC, FWA, the company General Purchasing Conditions, QDC Agreement etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
- +5years university degree or equivalent in engineering
- Over 2 years work experience in construction industry
- Knowledge of Purchasing for sourcing and operation
- Prefer work experience within automotive and construction equipment industry
- International work experience and cross-functional team work is a plus
