职位描述：
Caterpillar’s Engineering Change Implementation Engineer is accountable for overall Engineering Changes (include NPI batch release) management from engineering release to success implementation at the shop floor to ensure the customer always get the right product with best quality.

Engineering Change Implementation Engineer perform the following duties:
? Develop strategy to support the assembly line prior to the new change availability and communicate as needed to the Buyer, Material Planner and Manufacturing Engineer.
? Understand the urgency of change, have line of sight to new material, and understand the cost of new material and rework.
? Develop rework strategy with engineering direction and determine quantity of parts needed if rework of all machine in house is necessary.
? Determine the planned effective date of engineering change with related area.
? Change planned effective date if requested to do so by the Buyer / Material Planner / Manufacturing Engineer / Scheduler.
? Contact the Buyer / Material Planner of part that is being exhausted, scrapped, or reworked to determine how much material is committed to and how much inventory is on hand for first operations changes.
? Manage the RSSM process and budget due to engineering change or NPI.
? Prior to implementation, verify that schedules are in MRP and old change level is exhausting to zero. Change effective date as needed.
? Reevaluate strategy and confirm effective dates, serial/sequence numbers are correct and ensure that all material has been reworked or new change level material has arrived and back on assembly line/in location.
? Depending on complexity: be on the line the day of implementation.


Required Qualification:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and behaviors:
 
? University degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering / Mechanical / Manufacturing Process / Industrial Engineering;

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

? Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
