Overview The GROUP Operations Planning function is responsible for the global supply chain planning process. The Operations Planning function partners with sales, finance, manufacturing, procurement, and customer service to drive processes and systems that satisfy customers, optimize production, and reduce cost. The UOP Asia Pacific Leader reports to Asia Supply Chain Director. The leader reports with a dotted line relationship to the Global UOP Supply Planning Leader for the supported business. The SC leader UOP AP is focused on the UOP Asia manufacturing and the tolling planning and execution in the APAC region. This role works closely with the UOP Asia plant managers and global Demand and Supply Planning leaders as a regional resource in Sales and Operations Planning process. Responsibilities: ? Determine list of Master Schedule items and with input from the Global Supply Leaders ? Perform detailed capacity planning & scheduling activities with the manufacturing plants for Master Scheduled items ? Implement Replenishment Strategy and Time Fence Management policies ? Secure all the MRP elements in the capacity plan are relevant and accurate ~Audit MRP messages weekly and takes action as required. For example, if demand is not coming in as forecasted, generate excess inventory warning. If demand is coming in stronger than forecasted, generate inventory shortage warning. ~Balance supply with demand at the SKU level while adhering to established production plan, policies, resource constraints and requirements need date ? Support planning of Safety Stock, Replenishment Lead Time, Lot Size, Stocking Location with guidance from Global Supply Leaders ? Monitor production plan performance against actual results and report attainment metrics ? Monitor distribution plan performance against the actual results and report attainment metrics ? Support the Product Line Supply Leaders in managing the planning views for material master data ? Accountable for key metrics: OTTR (on-time to request), DOS (days of supply), NPI (Net Production Inventory) ? Lead SIOP Supply meetings for UOP APAC plants ? Represent UOP APAC in UOP Exec SIOP Meetings ? Lead ETECT improvement projects for UOP APAC ? Lead the UOP APAC SC Planning Team. Direct the members in the team, and develop the team under AP SC team strategy.
Required Qualifications ? Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or in a related area. Minimum 10 years experience in supply chain, production scheduling or related field
? Strong leadership skills required. ? Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. ? Project Management Skills. ? Demonstrated ability to accomplish business objectives ? Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements and control plans. Excellent analytical and judgment skills. ? Excellent SAP R3, SNP, MRP, scheduling, capacity management and organizational skills. ? Excellent written and oral English ? Preferred Qualifications ? SC experience for Tolling business. ?
