In this exciting and challenging role you will work with JADAK, a leader in embedded bar code, machine vision, printers, RFID and computing products, providing both off-the-shelf and optimized product solutions for major medical device manufacturers worldwide. JADAK has successfully designed, integrated and rolled out solutions in almost every area of the healthcare eco-system. JADAK products and technologies can be found in healthcare applications such as hospital admissions, pharmacies, laboratories, bedside point of care applications, surgery rooms and more.
Job Summary:
This position presents qualified candidates with the opportunity to directly affect JADAK revenues by managing customers and communicating their needs to the internal technical teams. A strong mix of technical, communication and business skills is needed.

In the Applications Engineering group you will work as part of a team that provides technical support and systems design approaches to customers. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for JADAK products. The Applications Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

As an applications engineer you must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. You will work as the bridge between our customers, our sales executives, and our internal engineering team. This role is an opportunity for an engineering professional to provide a broader business impact while still utilizing a technical skill set.

Key Responsibilities:
－Responsible for representing the product to customers at field events such as face-to-face meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.
－Provide technical support to customers, both on-site and in the office
－Help shape the technology direction of the company by recommending new product platforms
－Create White Papers, Manuals and Technical documents as required
－Be responsible for the development/application work of the machine vision project at customer side.
－Be responsible for the development/application work of information collection technology at customer side ( including but not limited to barcode reading , RFID … )
－Be responsible for the technical communication bridge between US R&D team and China customer.
－Visit the potential customer with Sale team to develop the new business as the technical point.
－Feedback the technical trend to HQ product director for developing the new product platform.
－Post-sale technical support for all customers .
－Partnering with sales to develop product cost and engineering effort estimates for customer proposals
－Requirement gathering for each customer project
－This includes providing the customer with system design ideas to solve their application
－Identifying creative solutions to customers’ needs
－Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams internally
－Engaging with senior management to identify product and sales strategies to win new projects
－Other job tasks supervisor assigned
Extensive travel：30 – 50%. Travel area is mostly China with the potential for some International travel
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies:
－Bachelor’s degree in Machine Vision, Computer Vision ,Computer science , EE or related disciplines. Master degree in machine vision , computer vision , software engineering is a plus .
－Familiar with machine vision, image processing , pattern recognition related technology is a strong plus.
－Minimum 3 years relevant working experience ,
－Machine vision project experience is a strong plus.
－Medical device/instrument experience is a strong plus .
