Role Purpose

Actively develops business within Key Supermarket accounts in the Chinese regions.

Principal Accountabilities

• Develop close working relationships with Key Supermarket Accounts in Mainland China .These relationships should be with the key decision makers in the respective organisation.
• Develop close working relationships with key Refrigeration Contractors who determine the supply, installation and service of refrigeration equipment to second tier retailers.
• Ensure that updated forecasts are made on time to enable the Products Group to optimise costs and working capital and to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting of anticipated sales levels, market trends and market size.
• Develop, with the aid of General Manager - Sales and Marketing, strategies for each account in your defined region.
• Create defined plans for each account and product line and provide consistent communication of all plans to the General Manager - Sales and Marketing.
• Maintain an active intelligence base on competitor products and strategies and keep Sales team advised of such.
• Prepare quotations and submit tenders as required.
• Participate in the accounts receivable process, when required, with respect to Key Account and Contractor Receivables.
• Undertakes projects as directed by the General Manager - Sales and Marketing

Qualifications

• Appropriate Tertiary Qualification-preferred

Experience

• Good understanding of written and oral English language.
• At least 3 years experience in a representative role or similar.
• Some experience in the commercial refrigeration industry would be helpful
• Some Experience in a food retail environment or category management would also be helpful
