SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring production goals are met, providing the necessary support, training and development of manufacturing leadership, ensuring proper resource allocation/utilization, driving continuous process improvement and supporting safety/environmental goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinates production activities with support functions such as materials, engineering, quality, maintenance, safety etc. to ensure the whole production operations are running in safe, orderly, cleaning and effective environment;
2. Responsible for managing scrap, hourly production rate to standard, efficiency, downtime and overtime.
3. Be responsible for implementing all the production plan in time as required, ensure all the on-time delivery performance match the customer's demand.
4. Be responsible for ensuring the stable and high quality production output;
5. Be responsible for better production scheduling, removing waste from all kind of the production activities, improving the production efficiency;
6. Be responsible for setting up all the performance goals for both department and operations, line leaders, evaluate the performance periodically as required, motivate, train and build up a strong, disciplined and skillful production team;
7. Be responsible for continues improvement of production operation, in terms of quality, labor cost, 5S ;
8. Work with Facility team, be responsible for the daily maintenance of production equipment.
9. To ensure all the workshop policies, procedures and disciplines be strictly controlled and performed;
10. Complies with and supports the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
11. Provide all kinds of support to other department as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS



1. Five years above mechanical industry experience;
2. Industry engineering background is preferred;
3. Familiar with lean production;
4. Familiar with mechanical manufacturing process, including assembly, powder painting, welding process;
5. Demonstrated experience in motivating, mentoring employees and meeting business objectives;
6. Good time management and organizational skills;
7. Good English, can read, listen, speak clearly
